Q?How old were you when you started painting ?

A.

I was 46 when I bought my 1st canvas , paints and brushes. I saw a mural that my daughter had painted in her home and was so excited to try painting , I went out and bought everything and the rest is history.

Q?What is your favorite – oil or acrylic ?

A.

I prefer acrylic when I do my abstracts because I move with high energy and paint with Latin Tango music, so I want a medium that will dry fast. I love the brilliance of oils for all my other work , I use a lot of glazing techniques which I prefer to do in oils.
